Find out more > PEMILIHAN Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto 2022 yang berlangsung sejak September lalu, berakhir Senin malam 24/10. Dalam grand final yang digelar di Ballroom Ayola Hotel, Nicholas Nathanael Novrosa Roring dan Lola Aqiila Pieter terpilih sebagai Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto 2022. Keduanya berhasil dinobatkan sebagai duta wisata setelah melalui rangkaian pemilihan. Mereka berhasil menunjukkan penampilan terbaik saat grand final. Dari 20 finalis, dewan juri menetapkan pasangan tersebut menjadi suksesor Gus Elang dan Yuk Dinda dari Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto 2021. BERKILAU Sejumlah finalis Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto menampilkan tarian kreasi dalam ajang grand final penobatan Duta Wisata Kota Mojokerto 2022. Penobatan Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto 2022 tersebut dihadiri Wali Kota Mojokerto Ika Puspitasari. Dalam sambutannya, Ning Ita, sapaan akrab wali kota mengatakan, gus yuk adalah duta wisata yang menjadi promotor pariwisata. Karena itu harus memahami literasi sejarah yang lebih kompleks terkait Kota Mojokerto dari masa ke masa. ”Tanpa mengetahui apa yang ada, sejarah latar belakang kota ini, maka tentu seorang promotor tidak akan bisa menjual Kota Mojokerto dengan sebuah rangkaian literasi yang indah, yang bisa menarik orang untuk datang ke kota kita,” tuturnya. SUKSES Gus Yuk Kebudayaan yang berhasil dipilih Senin malam 25/10 melalui penilaian dewan juri. Ning Ita berharap, berbagai ilmu dan pengalaman dari para narasumber selama proses pemilihan Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto bisa bermanfaat. Sekaligus, kemampuan tersebut diharapkan mampu memperkaya khazanah keilmuan mereka untuk mempromosikan Kota Mojokerto. ”Ada sepuluh pasang gus yuk yang sudah ditempa dengan berbagai kegiatan. Dan, para pendamping narasumber dari berbagai bidang, yang itu tentu akan memperkaya khazanah keilmuan dan pengalaman mereka yang diharapkan semua yang mereka peroleh itu akan mampu mereka terapkan dalam rangka mempromosikan Kota Mojokerto sebagai Kota Sejarah dan Budaya,” ujarnya. MOTIVASI Wali Kota Ika Puspitasari menyampaikan sambutan dan motivasi kepada finalis Gus dan Yuk di malam grand final, Senin kemarin 25/10. Selain mengucapkan selamat kepada para pemenang Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto, Ning Ita juga berpesan agar yang belum terpilih agar tidak berkecil hati karena menjadi pemenang bukan tujuan utama. ’’Sejatinya predikat itu bukanlah tujuan utama. Tapi bagaimana anak-anak mendapat pengalaman itulah yang paling berharga untuk kehidupan masa depan mereka,” tegasnya. Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kota Mojokerto Novi Rahardjo mengatakan, industri pariwisata merupakan instrumen utama dari pertumbuhan ekonomi di masyarakat. Sektor pariwisata diharapkan mampu menjadikan faktor kesejahteraan masyarakat agar mengalami peningkatan secara bertahap. Hal itu sesuai dengan arahan kebijakan Pemkot Mojokerto menuju kota pariwisata. PENUTUPAN Kepala Disporapar Kota Mojokerto Novi Rahardjo memberikan sambutan sekaligus membuka event grand final Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto 2022. ”Dalam industri pariwisata, kita sedang mempersiapkan SDM yang nantinya kita sesuaikan sesuai dengan kebijakan arah pengembangan pariwisata Kota Mojokerto. Melalui penobatan Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto tahun ini, kami berharap mereka mampu selaras dan seirama membawa misi Kota Mojokerto menuju kota pariwisata,” tuturnya. Selain menobatkan Gus dan Yuk Kota Mojokerto 2022, dewan juri juga menobatkan Muhammad Rifqi Rasyiddin Injila Cristina sebagai Gus dan Yuk Kebudayaan serta Bryan Yuan dan Oktarina Nida Asy Syifa sebagai Gus dan Yuk Ekonomi Kreatif. oce/ron/adv
